Description

We're a growing digital agency looking for a contract HR coordinator to own the people operations and admin side of our business. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. Uou'll be the person keeping our HR systems running, contracts current, and onboarding/offboarding smooth.

What you'll own
  • Employee onboarding and offboarding: contracts, HR profile setup, payroll enrollment, and HR documentation
  • HR platform administration (Humi): leave management, ROE submissions, T4 setup, and employee records
  • Benefits administration: enrolling/offboarding employees, plan reviews, billing accuracy
  • IT access provisioning and deprovisioning across multiple platforms
  • Device management
  • Employment contracts and contractor agreements: drafting from templates, coordinating review and signatures
  • Recruiting support: posting roles on Upwork, screening candidates, coordinating interviews

What we're looking for
  • Experience in an HR coordinator, people ops, or office admin role
  • Comfortable managing multiple systems and keeping detailed records
  • Familiarity with Canadian and BC specifically HR compliance: ROEs, T4s, employment standards
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience with Humi (or similar HRIS), Google Workspace, and project management tools
  • Comfortable working in a remote, fast-moving environment

What this role is
This is a contract position reporting directly to our CEO. It's a broad role, part HR, part admin, part IT coordination, suited to someone who likes having ownership across a range of operational functions rather than a narrow specialist scope.

You'll coordinate closely with our PM (who handles tool access and technical onboarding) and work directly with the CEO on hiring, contracts, and any sensitive HR matters.
